01604 385330I am no stranger to the KISS concept. I previously quoted Anthony Joshua saying “simplicity is genius” the last time I covered the importance of Keep It Simple Stupid, and still believe that this is more relevant than ever when overcoming personal challenges or tackling difficulties in our professional lives.
Anthony Joshua is no doubt facing his own struggles at the minute - will AJ remember his words from 2020 and still know how to KISS to win back the titles he lost from Usyk? As a little reminder for you (and AJ), we’re revisiting the KISS principle once again with our top tips on how to KISS in every part of your life.
Going back to basics can work wonders when it comes to nutrition and exercise. Following complicated, fad diets is never the way forward if you want to eat well for the long term.
Support your weight management goals simply by finding the right balance between eating the healthiest foods and enjoying activities that are fun and get you moving. If lockdown taught us anything, it’s that you don’t need an expensive gym membership to indulge in a spot of exercise.
The traditional way of building and maintaining relationships is now back on the menu thanks to the lifting of Covid restrictions. We can now socialise freely and openly just like old times, and have plenty of fun doing it!
Whether you’re searching for the love of your life or looking to strengthen current relationships, listening will get you far. Remember, communication works both ways; be open and transparent when talking and listening to give your relationships the strong foundation they need.
For those of you still working from home, the battle against procrastination is still very, very real. Keeping your productivity levels up however really is as simple as managing your time right.
Using the Pomodoro Technique, you can use your time wisely and avoid dreaded procrastination to reap all the rewards of a more productive work life. Simply choose your task, set a timer for 25 minutes and if you haven’t finished your task within this time period, have a 5-minute break before starting the timer again.
Devising lists, for tasks big and small, can also help you organise your workflow and achieve a sense of accomplishment that’s important to everyone.
